At the New York Film Academy’s film school, faculty members and curriculum are focused on providing students with the real world know-how to help them achieve their goals. These achievements are the result of their hard work, perseverance, talent and circumstances. Below are some of the positions and networks in which our alumni have worked:
Producing Degrees, Programs, and Workshops
A Producer supervises and manages pre-production, filming, and post-production, overseeing all aspects of creating a film, television show or multimedia project. At NYFA’s Producing School, students choose from a variety of programs in New York and Los Angeles, as well as NYFA Australia, where they can build these advanced skills and gain the knowledge, expertise, and confidence required to bring any creative project to life.
During our hands-on degree, certificate, and workshop programs, every phase of production is explored, training students in development, packaging, financing, production, marketing, and distribution. Through assignments, coursework, and projects that mirror work done by professional industry producers, students master the entire filmmaking process from start-to-finish as they establish their unique artistic voice and style.
As NYFA strives to make education in the visual arts accessible to the most diverse, international, and broadest spectrum of students, our Producing School is a welcoming, encouraging community. Students work and study under the guidance of industry professionals who actively work in the film, television, and entertainment industries, collaborating with students from all over the world as they build their creative network.
