Sean YoungActress
Sean began her career as an actress in 1980 in her first feature film Stripes, where she played the girlfriend of Harold Ramis. One of her most well-known roles was in the film Blade Runner with Harrison Ford. She then went on to star in No Way Out with Kevin Costner, The Boost with James Woods, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with Jim Carrey. A trained dancer, Sean Young studied at the School of American Ballet in New York, and recently made her professional stage debut in the Los Angeles production of Stardust. She was cast as Vicky Vale in Tim Burton’s 1989 version of Batman, but was replaced with Kim Basinger after an injury sustained riding a horse. On the Los Angeles campus, Sean spoke in great detail about her career and mistakes that she made, really making the students understand the way the business works and what is required. She spoke very frankly about her ups and downs, and how to avoid pitfalls as an actor.
