Jeff HarrisEDITORIAL PHOTOGRAPHER
New York advertising and editorial photographer Jeff Harris grew up in a creative household with his dad running a NY advertising agency and his mom pursuing a career in painting and photography. Harris pursued filmmaking at NYU, which exposed him to the importance of stories and characters (as well as all of the technical magic that came from a Bell and Howell Filmo and an upright Moviola.) While at NYU, he also focused on still photography and worked as a photo assistant during, and immediately following, university. Film school taught him the importance of collaboration and working with visionary individuals.
For over 25 years Jeff has worked for numerous publications and on various advertising campaigns. His work is known for its exacting sense of light, a sense of humor, and a variety of subjects. From fashion accessories and pharmaceuticals to candy and cave-men, to and from whisky and wigs, Harris loves to tell stories. A Long-time New Yorker, Harris currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife Diana, his son Decker, and their two cats, Carlos and Pablo. His client list includes: AARP, Ann Taylor, Breyers, Cigar Aficionado Magazine, Corona, Food Network, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, Vanity Fair and many others.
