Marks’ latest film, Mark, Mary & Some Other People was both written and directed by Marks, and had its world premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. The film won the award for ‘Best Screenplay’.
As an actress, Marks will next be seen in Adam Carter Rehmeier’s film Dinner in America, which premiered in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Last year, it was announced that Marks will direct the highly anticipated film adaptation of Turtles All the Way Down, the beloved (novel by author John Green ‘The Fault in Our Stars’). This project makes Marks one of the youngest female directors ever hired to direct a studio film.
Marks is also attached to direct the black-list script Don’t Make Me Go for Big Beach and Donald DeLine.
