Ben StillerACTOR
Ben Stiller was born in New York City to legendary comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. After a brief stint on Saturday Night Live in 1989, Stiller was offered a role in Steven Spielberg’s Empire of the Sun. In 1993, he was offered his own sketch comedy show, for which he recruited comics Andy Dick and Janeane Garofalo. The show was short-lived, but Stiller soon found success, starring opposite Winona Ryder and Ethan Hawke in Reality Bites. But it was 1998’s There’s Something About Mary that propelled him into the mainstream. Since then, Stiller has starred in such memorable comic hits as The Royal Tenenbaums with Wes Anderson, Meet the Parents alongside Robert DeNiro, and Night at the Museum with Dick Van Dyke.
