New York Film Academy’s Summer Camps for Teens & Kids returns to in-person learning at the Beijing Film Academy this August 2024. Students from across China gather for a week of hands-on learning, exploring their creativity and honing their filmmaking skills.
Dr. Joy Zhu, NYFA’s Executive Vice President for the China Region, inspires students with a speech about the unique opportunities available at the camp. Guided by experienced NYFA instructors, students develop their abilities in directing, screenwriting, camera operation, and editing while forming connections with peers who share their passion for storytelling. The camp concludes with a graduation ceremony where students showcase their short films. This experience celebrates the talent of young filmmakers and reinforces NYFA’s commitment to global education.
