The NYFA Los Angeles Photography Program was represented last weekend at Photo LA, the largest photo fair on the West Coast. Celebrating its 23rd year, the famed art fair showcases the best of the photographic arts, with galleries, publishers, and photographers visiting from around the world. Mounted in a new, larger venue in Downtown LA, the fair had over 10,000 visitors and NYFA students, instructors, and admissions counselors were on hand to talk to them about New York Film Academy’s photography program.
Photographic artworks by both current students and alumni were showcased at the NYFA booth. “We’re very proud of our students and their photography is of a very high caliber,” said Bobbi Fabian, Chair of the Photography School in Los Angeles. “We had many enquiries about the work and people were surprised to discover that the images were by students.”
