Anahí de Cárdenas is a Peruvian actress, dancer, singer, and model. She appeared in all nineteen episodes of the Peruvian TV series Esta sociedad (“This society” in Spanish) from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, she made her feature film debut in Mancora, directed by Ricardo de Mountreuil and Rupert Wyatt.
De Cárdenas came to NYFA Los Angeles in 2010, graduating from our 4-Week Acting for Film Program that year. Following her NYFA graduation, De Cárdenas appeared in a 2011 episode of the series Lalola. She then appeared as Maritza in the film 186 Dollars to Freedom (2012), starring John Robinson and Michael DeLorenzo.
Additionally, de Cárdenas starred in the 2012 TV series La Tayson, corazón rebelde. The following year, she appeared in the film ¡Asu Mare! (2013), along with its 2015 sequel, ¡Asu Mare! 2. Also in 2015, de Cárdenas appeared in the film El Benificio de la Duda (Spanish for “the benefit of the doubt”, directed by Ani Alva Helfer and starring Fiorella Rodriguez.
From 2014 to 2016, de Cárdenas appeared in the TV series Al Fondo hay sitio. She then appeared in the 2018 film No Me Digas Solterona, starring Patricia Barreto, Angelica Aragon, and Fiorella Rodriguez. Meanwhile, de Cárdenas reprised her role as Pamela in ¡Asu Mare! 3 the same year.
More recently, de Cárdenas played Maria del Carmen in Romulo & Julita (2020). Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, the film stars Miguel Iza and Monica Sanchez in the titular roles. De Cárdenas then reprised her role as Sol in No Me Digas Solterona 2 (2022). She also co-starred with Carlos Alcantara and Daniela Camaiora in the comedy Igualita a Mi (2022).
